Health Tourism Certificate
To perform medical tourism in Turkey, you must be authorized by the Ministry of Health with an International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate. This certification process is valid for both medical specialists and tourism agencies engaged with travelling patients. The aim is to ensure a standard of quality and safety for international patients seeking medical treatment in Turkey. These certifications focus on areas such as the qualifications and expertise of healthcare providers, facility standards, patient care, and ethical considerations.
Dr. Ferit Demirkan and Demirkan Clinic is certified for medical tourism by the Turkish Ministry of Health since 2021.
EBOPRAS Certificate
The European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) is a recognized authority in the field of plastic surgery education and certification in Europe. It is a section of UEMS (Union Europeenne Des Medecins Specializtes) for plastic surgery, and it is an independent board that aims to establish and maintain high standards of training, knowledge, and competence in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery.
EBOPRAS certification is highly regarded and demonstrates that a plastic surgeon has met the rigorous standards set by the board. It signifies a surgeon’s commitment to ongoing education, professional development, and the provision of quality care to patients.
Dr. Ferit Demirkan has EBOPRAS Certification since 2004, and he is also a member of the examiner group which executesthe EBOPRAS examinations.
